10 Online Hari Raya Bazaars Where You Can Do Some Last Minute Raya Shopping

Mashable Most of this year's festivities may have been cancelled due to the circuit breaker measures, but Ramadan bazaars - or pasar malam - still must go on. During Ramadan, Muslims all around the world observe a month-long fasting period which ends with the approach of Hari Raya Puasa. That is when families gather to celebrate and revel in this special holiday.

While the annual Geylang Serai Bazaar may have been cancelled, many vendors have shifted their selling online. Here are 10 online bazaars you can go to for your last minute Raya shopping.

Geylang Serai Bazaar

It is the mother of all Ramadan bazaars in Singapore, having been endorsed and acknowledged by the government and people from all around the world. This year, the bazaar has gone the way of e-commerce, hosting a selection of Ramadan programmes such as fitness shows, celebrity performances and cooking shows. Apart from the usual food, clothing, electronics and more, there is also a delivery service.

Virtual Celebfest

This is an online bazaar platform brought to you by the creators of Celebfest, Singapore's biggest celebrity and shopping bazaar. Here, you can find traditional wear, beauty, homeware and more.

The Halal Eater

The Halal Eater set off as an online blog providing the best resources for Halal food in Singapore. Since then, they have launched a free online platform for vendors to display their items. Its founder, Mr Izad Razi, says that there are about 50 vendors selling food, beauty and apparels on the platform so far.

This is a digital ecosystem to connect both merchants and consumers. It showcases a variety of food, fashion and lifestyle items.

Live-streaming has been trending for awhile now, so it is no surprise that Ramadan sellers have also jumped on the bandwagon. This app platform features the vendors, as well as top celebrities live-streaming to recommend the best sellers.

This online bazaar specially targets Singaporeans and Malaysians selling a variety of Raya items like food, clothing, beauty products and more.

Bazaar Raya SG 2020

With the availability of free social media sites like Instagram, selling has become easier for many of these vendors. Bazaar Raya SG 2020 operates via an Instagram page offering products such as desserts and other lifestyle items! With each seller's contact information on each post, shoppers can easily direct message them.

Bazaar Ramadan Singapore 2020

Bazaar Ria

What comes after e-commerce? 3D shopping of course! Bazaar Ria is a one-stop platform with virtual 3D shopping with products from womenswear, menswear, footwear, accessories, gear for your tech products, beauty essentials, sporting equipment and more.
